Svenska Skolan i Fort Lauderdale conduct classes for children in Swedish.  They have groups from Kindergarten where the Swedish language is introduced by play and games up to groups for older school-children that are fluent in spoken and written Swedish.

Some of the teachers are certified or have experience in education and some of them are mothers who want to give their children an opportunity to learn the Swedish language and culture.

There are currently 60 students enrolled in the Swedish School in Fort Lauderdale.

The semester begins on September 6.

Classes are held every other Sunday between the hours of 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, at the Education Station Preeschool in Lighthouse Point.

The fee per semester is $ 100.

Svenska skolan I Tampa Bay

Svenska skolan I Tampa Bay offer classes for children from Swedish speaking homes, they also offer adult beginner classes for beginners.

The teachers at Svenska skolan come from different backgrounds and are all interested in teaching Swedish and the Swedish culture to children and adults.

Last year 20 children were enrolled in one of the groups offered by the school.

The first day of school is September 13 from 4pm-6pm.  

Classes are held between 4 and 6pm every Sunday at
