Assange speaks out
Julian Assange has talked to Aftonbladet and Expressen about the rape accusations. He has not been questioned about the rape and sexual molestation accusations only about the lesser accusation of molestation. He thinks this is all about someone using the system for personal revenge and that this is a colossal waste of time and other resources as well as an abuse of the process. The accusations Assange finds to be baseless and disturbing. He has not been asked by the authorities to tell his side of the story. Assange continues that he has lost his confidence in the Swedish legal system as the police has not had to prove their accusations and that the whole matter has been transferred and even pushed from being under the rule of law to becoming a public matter. His comment to todays reopening of the rape accusations is that he was dumbfounded concerning the integrity of the Swedish judicial system.
